Santa, Salsa and Shopping: Ardovino’s 19th Annual Holiday Market Serves Up Festive Fun to El Paso Locals

Ardovino’s Desert Crossing, in collaboration with J&M Creations, hosted its 19th Annual Holiday Market, treating visitors to a seasonal shopping experience featuring over 90 local vendors on Saturday.

The event, spanning seven hours, became a festive retreat for holiday enthusiasts, marking the perfect start to the season.

This year, the Holiday Market extended its hours to accommodate eager shoppers, welcoming them from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The market has been a staple for El Paso area residents for 23 years, offering an expanding array of organic and pesticide-free produce, fresh-baked bread, vegan cheeses, locally roasted coffee beans, salsas, and more.

Market-goers had the opportunity to indulge in a fair-trade cup of coffee, savor fresh-squeezed juices, and enjoy delicious food served by CoffeeStream.

The event also featured regular activities such as Yoga at the Market, a monthly Sip and Paint Party hosted by La Buena Paint Parties, and various educational sessions, including food literacy classes, cooking demos, kid’s activities, gardening tips, and vendor workshops.

Throughout the day, the sounds of the holidays filled the air with performances by El Paso Opera and the Manny Lozano Duo.

Plus a special appearance by Santa Claus from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Families had the chance to capture memories with Santa and share their Christmas wishes.

For those with a sweet tooth and artistic flair, the Adult Cookie Decorating Class offered a delightful experience.

The festivities concluded with a captivating performance by Ballet Folklorico Luz del Mundo at 4:00 PM on the Del Camino Patio Bandstand.

Ardovino’s Desert Crossing, located at 80 Ardovino Dr, Sunland Park, NM 88063, welcomed well-behaved leashed pets, and honored Farmer’s Market WIC/Senior Benefits Debit Cards at select vendors from July to November.

The 19th Annual Holiday Market left a trail of festive joy and local spirit, inviting everyone to cherish the memories created on this delightful occasion.
