Los Angeles CA

1. New York, NY

New York is one of the best cities in the U.S. to visit during the fall. The weather is finally cooling off, summer tourist crowds have dispersed, and you can see some beautiful fall foliage in Central Park.

It’s the perfect time to visit and enjoy this city’s world-class museums, catch a Broadway show, and sample some of New York’s diverse cuisine.

The average cost of a round-trip flight to New York right now is just $174, a 34% decrease compared to the summer, making this the best time to book your trip.

2. Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas is another one of the most popular travel destinations in the United States, and there’s a lot more to it than just casinos, gambling, and nightlife.

Several new museums, entertainment options, and activities have come to Las Vegas this year. This city in the desert is also within easy driving distance of Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley National Park. Fall is a good time to visit because the weather is not quite as hot as it is in the scorching summer.

Flights to Las Vegas are about $188 round-trip right now, a decrease of 24% compared to summer.

3. Los Angeles, CA

Flights to Los Angeles have seen the biggest drop in cost so far this fall. Currently, airfare is down a whopping 40% compared to this summer, with round-trip flights averaging $179.

Los Angeles is a great destination to visit year-round, but fall is particularly lovely with fewer crowds, cleaner air, and mild weather.

There’s a lot to do in Los Angeles itself, like visiting the iconic Hollywood sign or the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But there are also plenty of things to do in the surrounding area, like visiting the iconic Disneyland theme park in Anaheim or checking out nearby beaches like Santa Monica and Malibu.

4. Orlando, FL

Orlando is one of the top tourist destinations in the United States, and for good reason. It’s home to theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando, which draw millions of families with children and adult travelers alike each year.

However, there are also lots of reasons to visit Orlando outside the theme parks.

While Orlando is known for always having lots of cheap flights, airfares have dropped 32% further this fall, with round-trip flights averaging just $137.
